iMagine at EGI2025
iMagine is proud to announce that the project will host a plenary session at the upcoming EGI2025.
What is EGI2025
EGI2025 is the annual conference of the EGI Federation. This year, the community will gather in Santander, Spain, from 02 to 05 June 2025. Throughout the week, the conference will bring together international scientific communities, computing and service providers, European projects, security experts, community managers, and policymakers to advance research and innovation in data-intensive processing and analytics in a safe and open environment with room for in-depth discussion, new insights, and networking.
iMagine Session
iMagine will host the plenary session titled "Addressing AI needs for processing imaging data: the case of Aquatic Science and the iMagine project" on Wednesday, 04 June, from 09:00 to 10:45 CEST.
The session will be livestreamed on the EGI's YouTube Channel.
The session will highlight the project's achievements:
- the iMagine AI platform,
- the Competence Centre,
- the federated cloud infrastructure,
- labelled image sets,
- thematic image analysis applications,
- training and outreach programme.
The session will provide a scientific-technical deep dive through a live demonstration of the FlowCam Phytoplankton Identification Service.
